Single Patient
Single Patient Electronic Health Information (EHI) Export allows for the extraction of a single patient’s electronic health information from an Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) – certified VigiLanz system in an electronic and computable format. The export process extracts data for a single patient within the VigiLanz application. The export data includes core electronic health record data as stored and created by the application including Activations and Patient Notes. The export is available at no charge.
The following information provides instructions for recipients of an export to launch the extract and information regarding the data format specification files.
Extract Artifacts
The zip files will contain 2 CSV files and 1 text file (Read Me). The text file will include the hyperlink to the VigiLanz landing page. The CSV files will include data related to all VigiLanz activations for the patient and VigiLanz initiated patient notes.

Extract User Guide
End users can generate a Single Patient Export from the Patient’s Chart. Click the “EHI Export” link which will launch the extract. The link will only be visible to users with an Administrator role. A pop-up message will display asking the user if they want to continue with the export. Selecting “yes” will launch the export, selecting “no” will return the user to the patient chart.

Extract User Guide
End users can request a patient population export by submitting an IssueTrak ticket and selecting “Patient Population EHI Export” from the “VigiLanz Issue Type – Support” dropdown menu. The ticket will be reviewed by our support team and routed to our technical team for processing. The files will be timely delivered within the ticket and available for download. The export is available at no charge.
