Award winners chosen for ability to advance and innovate healthcare

MINNEAPOLIS, September 15, 2023 — VigiLanz, a clinical surveillance company, today announced the recognition of Jocasta G. Olp, Vice President of Operations, as an inaugural Healthcare Innovation 40 Under 40 award winner.

The awards are designed to represent some of the best, brightest, and hardest working individuals in the healthcare industry.

Jocasta joined VigiLanz in 2022 as the director of clinical and product operations, and was promoted to her current leadership role earlier this year. Throughout her career, Jocasta has been continually recognized as a dynamic and results-driven healthcare executive with a record for driving organizational growth and success.

“I am very honored to be recognized as a 40 Under 40 award winner,” said Olp. “I love having the ability to make a lasting difference in a person’s life by improving their health and well-being. With VigiLanz, our innovative mission is clear – leverage technology to transform healthcare delivery, focus on preventing harm, optimize clinical outcomes, and support preventive care in real-time.”

Jocasta earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and her MBA from Capella University. Prior to that she earned her biology degree from Lipscomb University.

“Dr. Olp is well-deserving of this recognition,” said David Goldsteen, MD, CEO of VigiLanz. “This award is a testament to her industry knowledge and expertise. She is an extraordinary example of the innovative and skilled minds that are the strength behind VigiLanz. I am very proud to have her as a trusted colleague and applaud her for the passion and commitment she brings to work every day.”

“I met Dr. Olp as a pharmacy student on rotation with me years ago,” said Hayley Burgess, Chief Operating and Chief Clinical Officer, VigiLanz. “At that time, it was easy to see her potential as a highly skilled professional. She has worked diligently to become an exemplary leader, clinician, and researcher. I am proud to have her as part of our team.”
